Frequently Asked Questions

Registration for the 2024 fall season is now closed. Please consider Jr. Cougar Football in the Spring 2025.  

Your athlete will receive a helmet, guardian cap, shoulder pads, practice and game day jerseys.  

Items needed to be purchased are: 

• practice pants 
• girdle with thigh, hip and tail bone pads. If you purchase practice pants with knee pads , you do not need to buy the extra below. 
• knee pads (if your girdle does not have them)
• football cleats (NO METAL SPIKES)
• mouthguard

You can find these items at Amazon or your local sporting goods store. 

Game days are Saturdays. 6th grade games are first, followed by 7th and 8th. 

Home games are played at The Arena at Chattahoochee High School. Away games are played at the opponents stadiums. 

Our middle school level teams, which include grades 6th through 8th, compete in the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA). For our younger athletes, those in grades 4th through 5th, compete in the Cobb Football League (CFL).

Adults $6.00, Students $3.00, and children 5 and under free. 

The Jr. Cougar Football Team relies on the support and dedication of its fans to continue providing quality games and events for the community. The gate fee will help cover the costs of equipment, field maintenance, and other expenses necessary to keep the team running.

Jr. Cougar Football is a non-profit  volunteer organization, giving students the opportunity to play football.  We serve (6) six Johns Creek, GA feeder schools for Chattahoochee High School.

Athletes must be in 4th through 8th grade to play Jr. Cougar Football.

At this time, Jr. Cougar Football does not offer a Flag Football program.
